●Saying they are promised ritual will generate N200 million in just seven days
The Ogun State Police Command apprehended two herbalists, Moses Abidemi and Oluwo Samuel Monday, as well as two so-called priests of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church, Prophet Peter Oluwalolese and Prophet Jamiu Yusuf in connection with the murder of a 35-year-old woman named Sulaimon Adijat, allegedly for the purpose of a money ritual.
Three additional suspects, Akinwunmi Ifatosin, Sherifff Agbai, and Osojieahen Alioneitouria, all from Uromi in Esan West Local Government Area of Edo State, were also apprehended in connection with the murder.
The suspects were displayed at the Command Headquarters, Eleweran, Abeokuta on Wednesday, February 14, 2024. The State Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Alamutu, described them as a gang of hardened criminals who not only engage in ritual killings.
