From Taiwo Oluwadare, Ibadan
Ahead of 2015 general election, the Supreme Head, Cherubim and Seraphim, (C $ S) movement worldwide (Baba Aladura),  Dr Samuel Adefila Abidoye has warned that the country may witness crisis unless Nigerians pray to God.
The religious leader while addressing newsmen on the 74th international conference of the church in Ogbomoso yesterday, charged Nigerians to pray fervently to avoid crisis before, during and after the election,
The man of God who predicted the election of President Goodluck Jonathan in 2010, said he could not predict the outcome of the 2015 election “because God has not spoken to the church but may be before the end of the conference, God will have something to tell Nigerians.
“If the 2015 elections will be peaceful, we have to start praying now. Except we pray, probably, there will be problem. The prayers of Nigerians will stop the crisis”.
“When we talk to God, we pray for peace in Nigeria. We should pray fervently for peaceful election. To stop the crisis, we need to start praying now. Nigerians should pray for peaceful conduct of the election,” he declared.
Abidoye who enjoined christians to participate in politics, warned them not to be corrupt.
He said christians should join politics so that they would correct anomalies in political circle like corruption instead of joining in perpetuating corrupting acts  .
“They should join politics and not to involve in dirty politics. They should see it as avenue not to enrich themselves at the detriment of the masses,” he added.
He added that politicians who are moving from one political party to the other were not practising true democracy, saying that it was because they lack idea or ideology.
