The Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) Ekiti State chapter has saluted the Ekiti State Governor and Chairman of Nigeria Governors’Forum, Dr. John Kayode Fayemi on the occasion of his 56th birthday celebration. The association also praised the governor’s wife, Erelu Bisi Fayemi for being a great pillar and benefactor of ANA in Ekiti State.
While felicitating with the amiable governor, who is the grand patron of ANA, Ekiti chapter, ANA describes governor Fayemi as a pillar of support for literacy and literature adding that his good policies have greatly promoted education in the state.
A press statement made available to newsmen on Tuesday and co-signed by both the chairman, and Secretary, ANA, Ekiti chapter, i.e Dr. Sola Balogun and Gani Salau respectively, reads in part: “ANA, Ekiti chapter felicitates with our amiable Executive Governor, Dr John Kayode Fayemi on the occasion of his fifty sixth birthday anniversary. We are particularly delighted that Governor Fayemi has, since assuming office, been a great supporter and promoter of literacy and literature through the state government’s policies on education. Governor Fayemi who is the Chairman of Nigerian Governors’ Forum and Grand Patron of ANA has equally extended his hands of fellowship to our association during the 2019 state convention held in Ado Ekiti.
“We also salute the wife of the Governor, Erelu Bisi Fayemi for being a great pillar and benefactor of ANA in Ekiti State. We pray that God will continue to grant our Governor and his wife many more years in good health and the strength and courage to take Ekiti State and her people to greater heights. Amen.
