The Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ Ekiti State Council has joined eminent personalities across the world to felicitate with Governor Kayode Fayemi on the occasion of his birthday.
This is contained in a statement signed by the chairman of the union, Comrade Rotimi Ojomoyela and the Secretary Comrade Kayode Babatuyi.
The statement describes Governor Kayemi as a precious gift and blessing not only to Ekiti but also to
the country at large with a prayer to God to continue to grant his secret prayers and preserve his life to witness many more years in good health.
It also rejoiced with the wife of the Governor, Erelu Bisi Fayemi for the grace of God that kept her and the Governor to witness the glorious day.
According to the statement, Governor Fayemi is one of the few leaders that accords premium to the welfare of journalists within and outside office.
It adds that no government had appointed as much journalists into key positions as Governor Fayemi just as the union has always enjoyed his magnanimity.
