A snippet of tonight episode of the BBNaija Reunion was shared on the official Big Brother Naija Page on Instagram. The short video clip captures the moment Erica was speaking about her relationship with Laycon in the house and how she feels mere looking at him.
You may recall that Erica has not been cool with Laycon since they had some disagreements in the house. Laycon and Erica were very intimate until Laycon tried to pursue a romantic relationship with her. Erica told him that she is not attracted to him that way. She said she only loves his intellectual side.
Laycon decided to take a step back after Erica made it clear that nothing like that can happen between them. However, Erica was still not cool with the fact that Laycon was avoiding her in the house and she tried to talk to him on several occasions which was futile. Their relationship finally hit the rock when Ebuka mentioned something about Laycon telling other housemates that Erica tried to kiss him a couple of times.
Erica was surprised when Ebuka revealed what Laycon told other housemates. She confronted him to explain where and when she attempted to kiss him but Laycon told her that the atmosphere in the house was already tensed because of their friends who just got evicted, so it’s better postpone that conversation.
Erica approached him again after a Saturday Night and that time, she was already intoxicated. When she saw that Laycon did not want to talk to her about the issue, she started insulting him, body-shaming him amongst other things she did which led to her disqualification. Erica still believes that Laycon manipulated her and portray himself as a saint to the world.
In the clip that surfaced the internet, Erica reveals that as she is looking at Laycon, she still feels very stupid for ever saying that Laycon was her best friend in the house or someone who had her back. She said she regrets calling Laycon her friend in the house because he is just a snake and he only acts to make people pity him.
Erica said “I think he is just a snake and he is just going to act, like he is going to make people pity him as usual, act like a saint. It is not going to be genuine, so there is no point and really, there is no relevance. We only knew each other for 2 months right? In my 27 years of living, I only knew him for 2 months. So it is no relevant, honestly and there is nothing I will ever trust that comes out of his mouth.”
“As I look at him, I still feel very stupid for ever saying that he is my best friend in the house and the person that had my back in the house and all of that. I have a question, there was a video that I saw where he said ‘if I had the chance to talk to Erica, I will tell her she’s smart, she is this, she is strong.’ Please are we not on the same group chat, uncle? Why are you pretending?”
Erica said Laycon is only pretending for people to like him. She said Laycon once said in an interview that if he had the chance to talk to Erica, he will tell her that she is smart and strong. Ironically, Erica said they are both in the same WhatsApp group chat all these while yet he had never said anything to her but he made people believe otherwise.
