The Mayegun of Yorubaland, Alhaji Wasiu Ayinde popularly known as K1 is said to have taken another wife, Emmanuella Ropo who was rumoured to be the former lover of Ooni Ogunwusi Adeyeye.
KWAM 1 who was rumoured sometime ago to be having an amorous affair with one of the wives of top monarch, Alaafin of Oyo allegedly had a secret wedding with Emmanuella Ropo, the pretty owner of Party Dreams, a children’s gift shop in Lagos.
Lending credence to the romance tale, the musician over the weekend took his new wife to the palace of the Elegushi of Ikateland, Oba Saheed Elegushi where he officially introduced her to the king and some of their other friends.
The Elegushi and the musician are close, informing the decision to make his palace their first outing after their alleged secret wedding.
According to report as monitored on popular news website Elitesng, K1 and Emmanuella had been an item for some time. The public first noticed their closeness at the burial ceremony of Emmanuella’s dad in Abeokuta. K1 didn’t just performed, he took his friends to the event where they were specially entertained.
One of the musician’s associates who spoke to papermacheonline said he cannot confirm or deny that the duo are friends. When asked if he knows about the secret wedding, he replied ‘can you ask K1 himself?’.
