Aare Musulumi of Yoruba Land, Edo & Delta States Sends Eid al-Adha Felicitations to Muslim Ummah

As Muslims around the world observe Eid al-Adha in devotion and reflection, the Aare Musulumi of Yoruba Land, Edo, and Delta States, Alhaji (Dr) Dawud Makanjuola Akinola (De-Damak), has extended heartfelt greetings and prayers to the global Muslim Ummah.

In a message marking the sacred Islamic festival, Alhaji Akinola emphasized the profound significance of Eid al-Adha, which symbolizes unwavering faith, sacrifice, obedience, and compassion as demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim (AS). He encouraged all Muslims to use the occasion to renew their commitment to the will of Almighty Allah, support the less privileged, and foster unity within communities and the nation at large.

The Aare Musulumi also conveyed warm Eid greetings to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Vice President Senator Kashim Shettima, and all cabinet members, praying for divine wisdom and strength as they lead the country toward greater prosperity.

Extending his message further, he commended the efforts of state governors across Nigeria in steering their states towards development and nation-building.

Special greetings were also directed to the President-General of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs and Sultan of Sokoto, His Eminence Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III, for his exemplary leadership in promoting Islamic unity and peaceful coexistence.

Alhaji Akinola expressed appreciation for the League of Imams and Alfas across Yoruba Land, Edo, and Delta States, recognizing their dedication to spiritual guidance and Islamic service. He also acknowledged the contributions of religious, political, and traditional leaders nationwide.

Offering prayers for all Muslims during this blessed season, the Aare Musulumi beseeched Almighty Allah to accept their sacrifices, grant peace and joy, and bless all believers across the world.
