Adebayo Adelabu, the gubernatorial candidate in the 2019 election, has expressed hope that he will emerge winner at the petition tribunal against the incumbent governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde.

The former CBN chief said with the evidences presented at the Oyo state governorship petition tribunal by his party, he is sure the tribunal will return his mandate to him.

According to Daily Trust‘s report, Adelabu stated this shortly after the tribunal adopted the addresses of the counsels to the two parties involved in the state governorship petition tribunal said the party is more united and expect a sound victory from the ruling.

“We have shown to the whole world that there were lots of infractions during the March 9 Governorship election in the state and victory shall be ours and our party.

“We have done all that is required of us to contest the gubernatorial election, and we’re the most popular candidate and party with the track record because people voted for us,” he said.
