A magistrate court in Mpape, Abuja on Tuesday granted the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in the September 2018 governorship election in Osun state, Senator Ademola Adeleke, bail in the sum of N2 million.
The Police in Abuja had arraigned Adeleke at the magistrate court on Tuesday over alleged certificate forgery.
He had honoured an invitation by the police at the Force Headquarters in Abuja before he was detained on Monday.
The Magistrate, Muhammed Zubairu, granted Adeleke bail in a sum of N2 million and a surety in like sum.
The case has been adjourned to June 24.
