The Ajayi Crowther University Alumni Association has extended its global reach by establishing new branches in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. Additionally, new branches have been inaugurated in Abuja, Lagos, and Ibadan, further strengthening the association’s presence.
In a statement issued in Ibadan on Monday, the Alumni President, Busoye Ogunlade, announced the inauguration of new executives who will oversee the activities of the association in these locations for the next three years.
Newly Appointed Branch Coordinators:

Ogunlade emphasized that the expansion aligns with his initial manifesto as President, aimed at strengthening the alumni network worldwide. He described the new branches as strategic hubs for excellence and collaboration.
The Alumni Association has maintained a strong partnership with the university administration and is working towards establishing an endowment fund to support research initiatives and mitigate brain drain among lecturers. Ogunlade attributed the successful branch launches to the unwavering support from the university’s management.
As Ajayi Crowther University celebrates its 20th anniversary, the Alumni President called on all graduates to actively contribute to the institution’s growth and transformation. He highlighted that the newly appointed executives include seasoned professionals from diverse industries who are committed to advancing the association’s mission.
Ogunlade urged members to support the newly appointed leaders and encouraged the executives to demonstrate exemplary leadership. He called for collective cooperation to ensure the success of the association’s objectives.
“To all alumni, we invite you to rally behind the executives in your respective locations. Your unwavering support is crucial in navigating the challenges ahead and ensuring a strong, dynamic alumni association,” Ogunlade stated.
Additionally, the association has launched a dedicated website, www.acu-alumni.com, designed to facilitate easy access to institutional information and transcript processing. Ogunlade encouraged members to register on the platform, which also serves as a portal for alumni loan disbursement aimed at supporting small-scale business ventures.
“We have introduced several initiatives to alleviate financial burdens on our members. The new website will assist in loan disbursement, result processing, and transcript retrieval, ensuring seamless access to essential services,” he added.
