The wife of Oyo state governor, Mrs. Florence Ajimobi has solicited people of Oyo state to vote for her husband, Senator Abiola Ajimobi in the 2015 governorship election in the state in order not to return the state to the past decay.
She gave the charge at a bi-monthly prayer meeting by Oyo state women held at Remembrance Arcade, government house, Agodi, Ibadan at the weekend.
Mrs. Ajimobi warned the people in the state to learn from what happened in Ekiti urging them to avoid re-occurrence of such in Oyo state so that people of the state can enjoin goodies in Ajimobi’s government till 2019.
The governor’s wife also noted that the bi-monthly prayer meeting has helped the state in so many ways saying especially is the aversion of Ebola ailment from getting to the state and spill over of Boko-Haram activities from Northern Nigeria.
She also urged the people to live their lives as if they are going to die today by rendering sacrificial services to their fellow men and women saying this is what her husband is doing in Oyo state.
She added that Senator Ajimobi is a responding and respecting governor who cares so much about his people in the state especially women and youths.
Mrs. Ajimobi however thanked the people for their unflinching support especially for voting his husband as flagbearer of All Progressive Congress during the governorship primary in the state.
She said by God’s grace come next prayer meeting that will come up next year February, her husband would have re-emerged the governor of the state saying she will come with dancing shoe to thank God.
