The alleged serial fraudster, Olawale Ojoge Daniel and his wife, Bola Ojoge have reportedly vacated their Agbarigo rented appartment after the Inspector General of Police monitoring team bursted his house in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.
Ojoge was last year reportedly duped the family of Raji Adepoju in Mokore village, Ibadan Oyo state, he blackmailed and duped an Ibadan-based property manager, Alhaji Sufianu Ayinde Kazeem, popularly called sukazeem, and family of Soara Koleoso of Salvation army.
EFCC had in September 8, 2020 invited Ojoge to explain his involvement in series of fraud committed against a real estate firm, Sukazeem Property Ventures Limited.
The petition tagged; “Petition Against Barrister Olawale Ojoge Daniel” was signed by Alhaji SA Kazeem the Managing Director of Sukazeem Property Ventures Limited on behalf of the company.
Our correspondent gathered that unknowing to his prey, Ojoge was banned during the time he collected million of Naira from his clients.
Our correspondent also gathered that Olawale Ojoge Daniel had left Ibadan for his Ilesha home town since last year and refused to return home for fear of arrest.
Following several invitation by police and EFCC, the IG monitoring team from Abuja bursted Ojoge’s house last year but was not at home at the time of the raid.
The team however met him the second time his house was raided but he refused to open the door for the IG monitoring team.
The controversial lawyer had sent more than four other Counsel to Alhaji SA Kazeem who also hailed from Ilesha, Osun State to beg their client to withdraw from the case instituted against him for fraud.
In a telephone interview with our correspondent, Alhaji SA Kazeem confirmed that it is true that the lawyers approached him for out-of-court settlement which he declined.
Alhaji SA Kazeem warned lawyers not to betray his confidence in Nigeria judiciary for aiding a fraudster like Ojoge, calling in NBA to punish Ojoge for bringing reproach on the profession.
Our correspondent who visited Ojoge’s house to get his whereabout reported that his appartment is vacant as estate management who is handling the property had pasted advertisment of vacancy on the wall of the house.
Checking from the afar, our correspondent discovered that Olawale Ojoge Daniel had packed all his belongings from the apartment while his car park was also vacant.
One of the neighbors who spoke with our correspondent on condition of anonymous said; “the man has gone. We are no more living in fear. When he was here, we usually heard sporadic gunshots whenever police came for raid. He left here at night. People know him as a fruadster.”
