Alhaja Basirat Arisekola-Alao, the wife of Late Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland who was recently appointed as the Oyo State Coordinator of Security, Health & Education (S.H.E), an initiative by Chief (Mrs) Titi Atiku, wife of Presidential Candidate, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar.
Alhaja Alao who commenced her mandate yesterday, October 31, 2022, had her first official assignment in the capacity of State Coordinator of Oyo State as she paid a special courtesy visit to former Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Barr. Hazeem Gbolarumi who is also the Oyo State Coordinator of Atiku Abubakar Campaign Organisation.
She as well had an inaugural meeting with the coordinators of GAAG from the 33 Local Government Areas of Oyo State, at Barr. Gbolarumi’s Bodija residence.
The S.H.E initiative got a very warm support from Barr. Gbolarumi, who was not only in attendance at the meeting but also provided suggestions and logistics for smooth and all inclusiveness agenda for the project.
GAAG vividly showcased the readiness to embrace the S.H.E initiative by adjourning the meeting to Tuesday, November 01, 2022 and Tuesday, November 02, 2022, for membership registrations into the S.H.E. Project.
This was followed by registrations of other members and women at all the wards and polling units.
Other observers at the inaugural meeting of S.H.E were Alphonso Agboola, Steve, Taiwo and others.
Alhaja Basirat Arisekola-Alao was escorted out of the meeting by all the female members of GAAG in attendance, led by HE, Barr. Hazeem Gbolarumi & the Women Leader, Alhaja Latifah Lateef.
