In an attempt to further demarket the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress Bola Tinubu claims that Atiku and his boss, Olusegun Obasanjo, spent Central Bank of Nigeria’s funds on girlfriends.
Making this allegation during his presidential campaign rally in Warri on Saturday, Tinubu alleged that Obasanjo and Atiku were in the habit of fighting publicly while in power.

“When Atiku was there, he was fighting his boss (Obasanjo) in public, they were telling us how they spent CBN’s money to buy cars for girlfriends,” He said.
His comments come as candidates continue to woo electorates in the buildup to the 2023 presidential election.
Tinubu will be looking to extend the reign of the ruling APC at the 2023 presidential election. The presidential hopeful has been tipped alongside Rabiu Kwakwanso, Peter Obi, and Atiku as the favorites to win the 2023 presidential election.
