The church management of Daystar led by Pastor Sam Adeyemi has refuted as false the news of armed robbery attack on the church.
According to statement by the church, the attack was rather an attempted burglary and not armed robbery as reported in the media.
The statement reads below;
Our attention has been drawn to an online news publication of armed robbery on our main facility.
However, it was not armed robbery but an attempted burglary of one of our small halls on the 1st of July, 2022 which was foiled by our security team.
