The Governorship Candidate of the Accord Party in the 2023 general election, Chief Adebayo Adelabu has joined other eminent Nigerians to felicitate the Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Senator Mohood Olalekan Balogun Alli, Okumade II, on his 80th birthday celebration.
Chief Adelabu in his birthday message made available to the journalists by his media aide, Comrade Femi Awogboro, described Oba Lekan Balogun as a seasoned administrator and a political activist who is passionate about the development of Ibadan, Oyo State and Nigeria at large.
“I thank God for giving Ibadanland a monarch with high sense of humility, courage and administrative acumen, who has used his skills, knowledge and experience to effect positive change in the chieftaincy affairs of Ibadan, and most especially the appointment of Baales and Mogaji’s including honourary Chiefs”, Adelabu said.
“Since Oba Lekan Balogun ascended to the throne of his forefathers, the monarch has received huge support from people all over the world, because of the influence and the connectivity of the monarch which is targeted to facilitate meaningful development to the state” Adelabu stated.
He wished Oba Mohood Olalekan Balogun many more fruitful years on earth in good health and prayed that Ibadan will continue to be peaceful under his reigns.
