Justice Oyebola Ojo, the chief judge of Osun State, has said that Dr. Rahman Adedoyin, the owner of the Hilton Hotel Ile-Ife, where Timothy Adegoke, a graduate student at Obafemi Awolowo University, was reportedly killed, should be hanged.
The court had already found Adedoyin guilty of murder.
In her decision, the Chief Judge said that, based on what the prosecuting attorney, Femi Falana, SAN, knew about the case, the hotel owner and two of his employees were guilty of conspiring to kill the man and killing him without a good reason.
SaharaReporters said that Adegoke stayed at the Hilton Hotels and Resorts in Ile-Ife after coming from Abuja on November 5, 2021, so that he could get to his test at the OAU Distance Learning Centre in Moro, Osun State, on November 6 and 7, 2021, on time.
Later, he disappeared. After the cops looked into the hotel owner, Dr. Rahman Adedoyin, and the people who worked there, his body was found in a shallow grave.
When Adegoke went missing, the police were called, and seven suspects were taken into custody. After that, the investigation began.
