Reports have it that there has been a fire outbreak at the Apata Ibadan depot of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).
A source said the incident occurred in the loading section of the depot.
Residents living around the area have been thrown into panic mode with firemen who are battling to put out the fire.
A traffic gridlock has also built up along the Ibadan-Abeokuta road where the depot is located.
