A ghastly accident on Thursday occurred at Oja Jagun area of Ogbomoso North local government area as a matrix car ran off track and crushed a young girl due to break failure.
According to those at the scene of the event, the driver was said to have lost control of the vehicle, which led it to ran off track, thereby hiting a child who lost her life during the process.
Passersby and traffic officials as well as emergency responders collaborated to evacuate both the driver and the victim as angry mob unleashed violence on the matrix car and other vehicles parked kilometers away from the incident.
Meanwhile, contrary to rumors going round the Matrix car was not among the convoy of HE Engr Seyi Makinde, has the incident occurred hours after the governor and his entourages arrived at the Ogbomoo Zonal PDP Campaign.
The car has however been moved to the Ogbomoso Police Area Command.
