The Nigerian veteran Nollywood actor Ernest Asuzu is died on Tuesday evening.
Recalled that Azuzu was suffering from stroke sometime ago and was practically begging shoppers money to eat at some point in his life.
His wife, Jennifer Asuzu, who confirmed his death, said he fainted on Tuesday evening and never woke up.
It was gathered that his remains are on the way to the east for funeral rites.
However, after the break of the news, some colleagues in the industry including the Governor of Anambra State, Dr Ebelechukwu Obiano rallied round to support him.
Asuzu began his acting career in the late 90’s and was popular for hit man roles alongside the likes of Hanks Anuku, Jim Iyke, Emma Ehumadu and Alaso Wariboko.
The deceased rose to fame after acting in the Nollywood blockbuster movie, ‘Another Campus Queen.’
