Following the wide spread rumours reporting the death of the former Oyo State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi, his family has reacted, saying he is still alive.
The internet went abuzz on Thursday night with unconfirmed news announcing the death of the immediate past governor of the pace setters state after a brief illness.
For the very first hour when the news broke out, his family members, close friends and political associates remained mum which threw the entire state and country at large into not knowing what to believe.
Tributes and condolence messages had started pouring out on the internet while some others prayed the rumour doesn’t become reality.
Reacting to the news, the daughter-in-law of the koseleri Governor, Fatima Ganduje-Ajimobi confirmed that he is still very much alive.
In a tweet on her Twitter page, Fatima appreciated everyone for the concern but debunked all rumours linked to her father-in-law’s demise.
She tweeted:
