The Nigerian Movie Industry has lost one of its finest actors, Sadiq Abubakar Daba.
Sadiq Daba died on Wednesday evening, 3rd March 2021 after a long battle with leukemia and prostrate cancer, AuthenticNews gathered.
He bereatjed his last at his Marwa Garden residence at Alausa Ikeja
A close friend of his confirmed the passing of the veteran broadcaster.
Daba announced his diagnosis of Leukemia and Prostate Cancer in 2017 and was supported with fundraising by several well-meaning Nigerians including Josephine Obiajulu Odumakin, Mabel Oboh.
His demise has not been confirmed by his family yet
Sadiq Abubakar Daba, known simply as Sadiq Daba is a Nigerian actor and former broadcaster. In 2015, he won Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actor for his role as “Inspector Waziri” in October 1.
On 3 February 2018, Daba joined Project Pink Blue to walk against cancer to commemorate World Cancer Day.
