In a tragic incident at CCC Grace of Comfort Parish in Ile-Ife, Osun state, the Celestial Shephard, Most Superior Evangelist Olagbaju Moris Gbade Fadehan, was reportedly murdered by his assistant, Evangelist Olalekan Ogundipe, on Monday evening, February 26.
It is believed that a conflict between the two escalated into a physical altercation after their service came to an end. The suspect allegedly stabbed Fadehan, resulting in his immediate death.
Shockingly, the suspect then proceeded to set the deceased ablaze while still clothed in his sutana.
The swift actions of the church community led to the immediate capture of the suspect, who was subsequently handed over to the police for further investigation.
The spokesperson of the command has confirmed that an inquiry into the incident has already begun.
