Dignitaries from all walks of life, committee of friends on Sunday gathered in Ibadan, the Oyo State Capital to honour the newly appointed Permanent Secretary, General Administration, Governor’s Office, Dr. Kunle Oyedele on his elevation to the position of Permanent Secretary in the Civil Service of Oyo State.
The event took place at Ibadan House, Oke-Aremo, Ibadan where they described Dr. Oyedele as the epitome of humility, brilliant and diligent senior officer.
The new PSGA attended Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife where he obtained B.Sc. Degree (Agric Econs), he also obtained MSc and Ph.D Degrees in Agricultural Economics from University of Ibadan.
Speaking at the reception organized in honour of Dr. Kunle Oyedele, former President General, Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes, Chief Yemi Soladoye appreciated the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde on the appointment of Dr. Oyedele as Permanent Secretary, hinting that he served Ibadanland selflessly.
He enjoined all Ibadan Indigenes home and Diaspora to develop Ibadan first in all they do in order to leave legacy for generations yet unborn.
The retired Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources, Dr. Bashir Olanrewaju described Oyedele as a man of peace who is willing to help people around him without any discrimination.
Responding, the celebrant, Permanent Secretary General Administration, Governor’s Office, Dr. kunle Oyedele thanked the Executive Members Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes and the committee of friends for organizing such a gathering to celebrate him on his elevation.
He said he will not disappoint them and would continue to contribute his own quota for the development of Oyo State and Ibadanland.
