The female corps member who was assaulted by a female soldier in a video serving rounds online has spoken about the incident, Yabaleft reports.
In the viral video the army officer could be seen pouring an unknown substance on the Corps member identified as Ezeiruaku Ifeyinwa Fidelia, and struck her head with the bowl at intervals.
The incident is said to have happened at the 13 Brigade headquarters in Calabar where the corps member was serving.
The corps member has however been redeployed to Lagos. Speaking about the incident in an interview after she arrived Lagos last night, Ifeyinwa said she was not humiliated or silenced by the other military officers.
According to her, they empathized with her and condemned their colleagues’ action. She noted that the whole incident left her embarrassed and humiliated.
She also thanked Nigerians for their concern and appreciated those who reached out to her after the humiliating incident.
“Ever since the incident I haven’t been myself, Each time I remember what the lady did to me I feel embarrassed “. She said.
