The Caretaker Chairman of Ibadan North local government, Hon. Adeniyi Waheed Akanbi, has felicitated with the former deputy Governor and People’s Democratic party Chieftain in Oyo State, His Excellency Alhaji Hazeem Gbolarumi as he turned 63 years today Thursday March 4th, 2021.
The Caretaker Chairman in a statement personally signed and released in his office today described Alhaji Hazeem Gbolarumi as astute leader, administrator and political stalwart whose leadership credentials were worthy of emulation.
“As you mark your 63 years today, we celebrate you and all that you have accomplished through your humble beginnings to your illustrious career as a labour leader and as the former deputy governor in the State”.
“Your leadership prowess has continued to reverberate round the entire Ibadan North local government, Oyo State and beyond and I celebrate your unforgettable contributions to advancing our state, adding your commitment to humanity, and how you have, at different times through various capacities, impacted the people you lead, marked you out as a light that cannot be hidden”.
The Chairman lauded Gbolarumi for his active contributions to the growth and development of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state and for his astute leadership in Ibadan North Local Government Area. He noted that Alhaji Gbolarumi was one of the elders who stood firmly for his Chairmanship bid.
“On behalf of my family and the entire Ibadan North local government, I appreciate you and all you have done and still doing for the people our dear State. Congratulations and wishing you many more years of fruitful on Earth” the Chairman added
