As part of efforts to complement the Oyo State Government’s effort in alleviating the sufferings of the vulnerable people in the State occasioned by Covid -19 lockdown, the Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igboora has donated 100 packs of one kilogram worth of OYSCATECH Gaari to the Oyo State Government.
Receiving the gift on behalf of the Oyo State Governor, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Alhaja Bolatumi Oloko appreciated the Management and Staff of Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igboora for the kind gesture.
She noted that no gift was too small to be offered as palliative for the people at this lock down period.
Presenting the gift on behalf of the Management, Board of Studies, Staff and Students, the Acting Rector, Mr. Olaniyi Adekunle said the donation was part of efforts to support the Oyo State Government in alleviating the sufferings of the vulnerable people in the State during the lock down period.
The acting Rector prayed that the effort of government at the State, Federal and nations of the world at finding a lasting solution to the Covid – 19 would yield positive results.
Also present at the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural resources for the gift presentation include; the deputy rector, Dr. Ariyo Okunlola, Registrar, Mr. Niyi Fehintola, the Bursar, Alhaji Sarafa Agbogun and the Secretary to management, Mr. Olajire Gbadamosi.
