The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), South-West has commiserated with Gov Seyi Makinde of Oyo state and the entire Southwest PDP family over the sudden death of the party’s National Vice Chairman (Southwest) Honourable Olasoji Adagunodo.
The zonal publicity Secretary, Chief Sanya Atofarati, on Tuesday , said Adagunodo who died in the United States after a brief illness was a loyal, committed and service- oriented party man who sacrificed for the growth of the party.
The party said the late Soji Adagunodo played a key role in setting a unity table that strengthened the party in the Southwest region . The PDP spokesman described the deceased as an exceptionally dedicated Administrator, an incomparable team player and grassroots mobiliser.
“His sudden demise came to us as a rude shock and a big blow, considering his strength of character, capacity and ability to mobilise the people with love and honesty.
While extending our deep condolences to his immediate family, PDP National Executive Council, the entire Southwest PDP and the people of Osun state in particular. We also want to commiserate with Gov Seyi Makinde of Oyo state while we urge all our members to pray for the repose of his soul”
