There is double trouble for this teenage girl whose father reportedly sent out of home at about 11pm on Sunday, March 14, 2021 despite plea from the young girl (her name withheld)
According to SOJ WORLDWIDE ONLINE reports, a reliable source who spoke on condition of anonymity revealed that her father, Mr. Segbe Ebibahlu drove her out of home on Sunday night at 11pm of March 14, 2021.
He said, while she was roaming the street at night at Olola Abekoko, Central Mosque, after Central Mosque, Odo-Ona, Ibadan, Oyo State, she met with an elderly night guard who advised her not to move forward into the hands of OPC operatives not knowing he had his ulterior motive.
The girl heeded to his advise and stay back with him only to be forcefully raped by the man who pretended to be a good Samaritan.
The girl who is an apprentice behind Mobil Petrol Station in Challenge was seen struggling to survive. When onlookers moved closer to rescue her, they discovered that her mouth has aroma of Hypo Liquid she drank to commit suicide. Intervention of sympathizers around brought her back to life.
Our source put a call to her father who dropped the phone on the good Samaritan.
While he was called to inform him all the alleged action he took against the girl, the father neither denied nor confirmed it. When he was told police is already involved, he said police and soldiers can come for him.
The man whose wife died few years ago hailed from Edo State working as an OKADA rider in Ibadan.
It was gathered that on Tuesday the father came with the girl who survived suicide attempt to withdraw her from where she is doing apprenticeship as a beautician.
The police and NGOs are therefore called to effect the arrest of the father, Mr. Ebibahlu to explain why he sent the teenage girl out at the dead of the night and to arrest the night guard who raped the girl.
