•As two killed, wives, others taken away
Contrary to viral report that it was unknown gunmen attacked residence of Yoruba right activist and agitator, Sunday Adeyemo popularly known as Sunday Igboho, men of Department of Security Services(DSS) and Nigerian Soldiers attacked his residence.
Two people confirmed killed, while corpses were taken away when the security men invaded his residence at Soka, Ibadan, Oyo State and vandalized his new building.
It was gathered that the suspected men of DSS and Soldiers allegedly killed two people who live in the building, went away with their corpses and others who were not hurt. While Igboho’s fleet of cars and entire building were destroyed beyond repair.
Those who lost their lives were said to be relatives to Chief Sunday Igboho, but his wife, wives and children of his boys who live in the new building were said to be taken away alive.
It was learnt that they stormed Sunday Igboho’s residence around 1am of Wednesday, July 1, while many had gone to sleep.
Some of his boys who spoke with our reporter substantiated that the ugly phenomenon of soldiers’ invasion of Sunday Igboho happened around 1am of today, Wednesday, July 1 while they allegedly killed 5 people and went away with their corpses and others who were not hurt at all.
They added that the suspected men of DSS and soldiers damaged the building and fleet of cars parked at his garage.
It was said to be a sad occurrence which led to loss of precious lives and vandalization of properties.
