The rift between Edo state governor, Godwin Obaseki and estranged godfather, Adams Oshiomole has taken another dimension as the Governor renamed Oshiomole’s Street after Saraki.
The hitherto known Oshiomole’s Crescent in Auchi is now called Bukola Saraki’s Boulevard.
According to some political observers, the change of name must have been orchestrated by the ongoing disagreement between Governor Godwin Obaseki and the suspended National Chairman of APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomole.
You recall that Oshiomole has earlier last week used what many political analysts call “shelf imposed committee” to screen out Governor Godwin Obaseki out of APC’s coming primaries in September.
However, it is now karma time to pay Oshiomole as Appeal Court has unheld his suspension from the party.
It is now a game of power tussle as Obaseki will not allow himself and his years of political experience to be relegated to the background by the former Labor leader.
