…promises youths party’s platform to excel
The Chairman of the All Progressives’ Grand Alliance (APGA) party in Ekiti State, Hon. Rufus Alabi, has urged the good people of the state not to sell their votes in July, 2022 as many did during the last poll in 2018. He said the electorate in Ekiti ought have learnt their lessons from the suffering and hardship the ruling party, All Progressives’ Congress (APC) has been inflicting on them since the Dr. John Kayode Fayemi’s administration came on board.
Alabi said should the people fall into the temptation of collecting money in exchange for their votes in the coming gubernitorial poll on July, 2022, they would have sold themselves into another four year term of slavery and suffering.
While promising that voting APGA into power is liberating themselves from the shackles of suffering and hardship, he urged them to shine their eyes and resist voting buying.
Alabi made this known during an interview with newsmen in lkere-Ekiti. He also urged the people to go for the next alternative after trying the PDP and APC who have shown that they cannot deliver the dividends of democracy to them.
His words: “I assure you. APGA will deliver very good governance if given the opportunity to take the mantle of leadership of the state come July, 2022.
“Our party has been performing admirably well and delivering great dividends of democracy in Anambra State. We have been ensuring prompt payment of salaries, acceding to the demands of the youths, ensuring mechanized agriculture, building infrastructures, caring for pensioners by promptly paying their gratuity and others and also gurranteeing the security of lives and properties in the state.
“What is happening in Anambra is a quitessential example of good governance and that is what APGA wants to bring to Ekiti State. I assure you once again, that we are determined to wrest power from the ruling party, APC, with the support of all the good sons and daughters of Ekiti,” he said.
Alabi, who boasted that APGA is the third force in Nigeria as well as the only party that has its permanent National Secretariat in Abuja not as rented apartment, called on Ekiti youths to urgently join the party as APGA is set to give youths the party’s formidable platform to take over from the older generation so that they can take concrete decisions on issues that directly affect their lives
He tasked the Federal Government to urgently tackle the overwhelming insecurity in the land while bemoaning the wanton killings and kidnappings that have become rife.
