Elerinmo of Erinmo Pays Congratulatory Visit to Olubadan-Designate, Ladoja

The Elerinmo of Erinmo-Ijesa Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr) Michael Adeyobiojo Odunayo Adeagbo Ajayi Arowotawaya II, on Saturday paid a congratulatory visit to the Olubadan-Designate, Oba (Senator) Rasidi Adewolu Ladoja, at his residence on Ondo Street, Bodija, Ibadan.

Welcoming Oba Ajayi and his entourage, Oba Ladoja expressed deep gratitude to the monarch and the entire people of Erinmo-Ijesa for the goodwill gesture. He stressed the importance of unity among Yoruba monarchs, urging traditional rulers across Yorubaland to make peaceful coexistence, cultural preservation, and the promotion of Yoruba heritage their guiding principles.

“Yoruba has rich cultural values that the whole world cherishes and respects. Nothing should be done to tarnish these cultural heritages,” the Olubadan-Designate admonished.

In his goodwill speech, the Elerinmo of Erinmo congratulated Oba Ladoja on his ascension to the revered Olubadan throne, describing his emergence as “a testimony of divine providence, wisdom, and the collective trust of the great people of Ibadanland.”

Oba Ajayi prayed that Oba Ladoja’s reign would usher in peace, unity, and development not only for Ibadanland but also for Yorubaland as a whole. He emphasized the historical significance of the Olubadan stool and wished the incoming monarch a reign marked by wisdom, long life, prosperity, and achievements that would further uplift the dignity of the Yoruba race.
