In a remarkable display of community engagement, Hon. Olaide Akinremi, the member representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, has once again empowered hundreds of his constituents through a comprehensive empowerment initiative.
Fresh off the heels of a grants program that supported 300 market traders, widows, and other beneficiaries, Hon. Akinremi, popularly known as “Jagaban,” has now presented a range of valuable items to further uplift the lives of the people of Ibadan North.
The empowerment event, held at the Prince Akinremi Jagaban Hall in Samonda, Ibadan, saw the distribution of vital resources such as cars, deep freezers, refrigerators, sewing machines, grinding machines, standing hair dryers, and vulcanizing machines. These items were carefully allocated to constituents whose businesses and livelihoods would benefit the most from the support.
“Our goal is to empower our people and help them create sustainable sources of income,” said Hon. Akinremi. “By providing these essential tools and resources, we aim to support entrepreneurship and improve the overall well-being of our community.”
Notably, the event included the presentation of a car to the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) – Nalende/Oniyanrin chapter, fulfilling a campaign promise made by the representative to assist the association in its evangelical work.
Throughout the program, Hon. Akinremi reiterated the importance of embracing entrepreneurship and making the most of every legitimate opportunity to generate income and support one’s family. He assured his constituents of his continued commitment to delivering tangible democratic dividends and improving the lives of the people of Ibadan North.

The event was well-attended by grateful beneficiaries, community leaders, and local dignitaries, who expressed their appreciation for the representative’s ongoing efforts to empower and support the people of Ibadan North.
