The popular gospel singer, Esther Igbekele has relived the moment she spent with the late popular actress, Folake Aremu also known as Orisabunmi.
The singer on her Facebook page early hour of Wednesday expressed her sadness over the passing of the actress who died in her home on Tuesday in Ibadan, Oyo State Capital.
The singer said:
See who I saw last year December 24th but now she is gone… Water runaway my eyes..may your gentle soul rest in peace. Prophetess Folake Aremu. Aka Orisabunmi.
She also wrote:
I can’t just believe this shocking news that you are gone Mrs Aremu a.k.a. ORISABUNMI.. You are so lively and vibrant when you anchored the program at PONYAN in Kogi State. I never knew that will be the last time I will ever set my eyes on you. Wow 朗.. Iku doro. Ah ! O mase O ! May your gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
Late Orisabunmi became popular in an epic movie titled “Arelu’ where she played a role of an Osun priestess. She was ex-wife of late Jimoh Aliu who died late last year and producer of the epic movie.
