…Advises Her Excellency Erelu Bisi Fayemi to take charge and rescue her laudable program from incessant abuses and collapse
Mrs Abimbola Omotoso, wife of former Ekiti State House of Assembly member, Dr Samuel Omotoso, has come out in defense of her husband, over what she described as false allegation of sexual harassment of a girl who was living with her.
Mrs Omotoso, who advised the Wife of Ekiti State Governor, Erelu Bisi Fayemi to be mindful of her program being used to settle personal political scores said “The allegation being made against my husband is untrue, politically motivated just like many others made against him in the past.”
She accused the Principal of Christ Girls School, Ado Ekiti, Mrs Esan, of “abducting the said girl from my house without informing me or her parents and tutored her for days to lie against my husband to settle old scores while brainwashing the girl that all the clothes I bought for her were rags and once she becomes Erelu Fayemi’s daughter, all her life will change for good, with free education up to the University level.”
The statement issued on Monday, read; My name is Mrs Abimbola Omotoso, the wife of Hon Dr Samuel Omotoso, who was alleged in a false political campaign of calumny.
“The false sexual harassment, is nothing other than weaponisation of poverty using a poor wayward girl, living with me against my husband”, she said.
She writes;
The allegation is untrue, politically motivated just like many others made against my husband in the past and I wonder when he will be allowed his freedom to private life, devoid of incessant political harassment from the present state government.
My husband is a medical doctor and a PDP politician who contested, won and served as the Honorable member from Oye Constituency 1, the same constituency with His Excellency Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State in the last 5th Assembly.
I observed that the relationship between my husband and the Governor has been persistently and consistently volatile based on political differences and loyalty to different courses.
But I ask, is it an offence for him to invest in his state and stay back here to contribute to the development of Ekiti state?
These same people had invaded this building housing my husband’s private hospital and my pharmacy business with EFCC to harass and molest all of us, including the female staff and innocent children in my Creche.
The same State govt disconnected the street lights in front of our business complex, for more than a year, the whole area was in total darkness.
What have we done to deserve all these?
The Constant harassments and several political intimidations of my husband have caused me and my children immense mental torture, pains and financial losses and it is a form of severe gender based violence against my person.
After several false political allegations of murders made against my husband in the past had failed, these same people have resorted to the latest fad in town ‘sexual harassment’, bearing in mind that the immediate public perception of guilt against the alleged person.
The allegation is false like several others in the past and it will fail by His Mercy. Amen
The girl in question who is being politically weaponised against my husband is confirmed wayward and badly mannered and all what she wants is total freedoms for her reckless lifestyles as testified to by her mum and brother and she was severaly caught red handed by me, her mother and her blood brother including the pastor of our church and hence she is ready to do anything to achieve such levels of freedom.
Such freedom is not allowed in my house and rather than help the girl with rehabilitative services, my husband’s political opponents will rather use her as a weapon of political destruction.
I have many times personally caught this girl inappropriately rubbing her own body by herself in which I scolded her heavily’, please confirm this from her, but she never changed for one day, yet the mother will always plead with me to help her more on her, because the mother has lost total control on her.
All these bad behaviors made the girl to be a regular repeater of classes, from primary school and she had repeated class in the same Christ girl’s school as well.
I condemned in totality the roles played by the Principal of Christ Girls School, Ado Ekiti in the whole matter, because I went to see the Principal together with the girl’s mother, only for the principal to asked me to excuse her office and then she started tutoring the girl’s mother to lie against my husband and support her daughter saying Erelu Fayemi will then sponsor her Education to University level with free feeding and clothings.
The mother on leaving the principal’s office confessed all these to me.
I wonder why everybody in this state govt inclusive of the Principal are behaving as if their bladders are full and hence rushing to hang my husband, without due process, forgetting that he has a good name to protect and he is a father to my children.

I regularly bought clothes for this girl in the same shops like my kids and she uses the same android phone bought for my children.
I also paid for her primary education in a private school, all in my attempt to remodelled her already damaged character because she came to my house with several bad manners and the mum told me she ran away from the family she was living with before.
These pains shouldn’t be my reward.
Up till now no one has spoken with me from FIDA or elsewhere, either to listen to me or my husband, yet they are comfortable passing judgements on us the ‘ *victims* ‘ on mere false allegation.
I thank the girl’s mother for being a great woman of God with conscience and being someone who appreciated that I was only helping her to look after her daughter in good faith.
I am impressed that the mother resisted being procured by the principal and the state govt into their falsehood against my husband.
I also appreciate the sincerity of the mother of this girl for not covering up her persistent reckless behaviours in beer parlous and around several boyfriends with multiple lies like all her friends at Igede Ekiti, that the mother said are either presently pregnant or with multiple babies already.
The blood brother also confirmed the same horrid behaviours of this girl around her boyfriends at Igede Ekiti, that the girl is full of lies and many times she lied to the mum that she was going to her brother’s house only to detour to beer parlours and be caught dancing to very loud music with boyfriends, our pastor also observed the same pattern of reckless behaviours between her and the church Hausa security and another guy down the church.
Our pastor told my husband that he confronted the girl on this and then counselled my husband after the bible study program of last Monday, the 26th of April 2021 to take actions on her before it is too late.
Unfortunately, the principal abducted her same day.
I seriously frown at all manners of sexual offences and I counselled Her Excellency Erelu Bisi Fayemi to please supervise her programme properly so that evil people will not use it to settle old scores, especially politically motivated ones.
The Principal of Christ Girls School, Mrs Esan through her ignoble conducts has abused the laudable programme of the governor’s wife, by successfully advertising and tactically encouraging the wayward ones among the female students to think that it is profitable to lie, run from home and then live an all expenses paid lifetime of luxury on the bills of Her Excellency, Erelu Fayemi, once you claim sexual harassment and thus become Erelu’s daughter.
So these may encourage more lies and a false spike in allegations of sexual harassments.
This is not likely to be the good intention of Her Excellency in setting up the program and I fear the program losing focus and collapsing if not properly and clearly redefined and restructured.
The Vice Principal of the same Christ Girls disclosed last Thursday, 29th of April in front of the girl’s family lawyer, her parents, her blood brother and 2 police men that she interrogated the same girl 4 weeks ago just before Easter and the girl said nothing like sexual harassments ever happened to her from my husband or under my roof but she only do lots of house cleaning and other chores.
These people are alive.
But the story changed the moment the Principcal realised that it is the wife of the same Honourable that investigated her before in the Ekiti State House of assembly that the girl is living with.
Pray! Which testimony is better justified?
The one freely given to a clearly non interested party and as recent as 4 weeks ago herein the VP of the same school or the other from an old foe out to settle scores herein the principal, Mrs Esan?
The way and manner that the Principal was intentionally screaming these unearned advantages to the hearing of all students in the school is psychological weaponisation of these students and it’s enough to further corrupt the wayward children that will erroneously think further, that a life based on lies is much more profitable than working hard.
This is misleading and the principal working in cahoot with the State Govt must be cautioned.
A false allegation of sexual harassment is capable of permanently damaging a viable life. This is wickedness.
I therefore call for the principal to be thoroughly investigated by the police for all these ignoble acts and most especially arrested for abducting the girl from my house without informing me nor the girl’s mother, forcing a minor into custody for days without her mother’s consent is itself a form of kidnapping and therefore punished if found guilty, for making herself available as a collaborator and a bad example in such politically motivated bad outing.
I promise her that she will hear from my lawyers shortly.
Lastly, I want to alert the general public on the moves by the agents of the state govt frantically reaching out and putting pressures on the mother and brother of this girl to change their initial truthful testimonies on the girl, just like the principal attempted to do to coarse the mother but failed, surely God pass them.
For how long will a state govt attempts to cover falsehood?
I totally support my husband participation in politics, *he will never run away from them* and I pray that no gate of hell will prevail over him in Jesus name.
I also advised other women who want to help those that are not their biological offsprings to live in their homes, to have a rethink and beware of these silent dangers.
