The former Deputy Governor and PDP Chieftain in Oyo State, Alhaji Hazeem Gbolarumi, has called on the good people in the state to show concern over the health of the incumbent governor of the state, Engr. Seyi Makinde to pray fervently for his quick recovery.
Gbolarumi who is presently in London made the statement through his Special Assistance on Media, Olaniyi Stephen.
According to him, it is commendable that the governor did not hide his result, noting that it is good news that he is getting better, and requires the prayer of the good people of Oyo State and Nigerians.
He advised opposition not to politicise the health of the governor Seyi Makinde, but to join other well meaning people to pray for his quick recovery to enable him fulfill his promise to people in Oyo State, saying: “there is general saying in Yoruba language that “teni tode lamo, ao mo teni tonbo”.
Gbolarumi said any life body that contains water and blood must surely get ill. He prayed, may Allah heal him fast and strengthen him to continue to discharge the onerous duty of state to the benefit of all in Oyo State. “No part of his body will be infected with any known or unknown diseases. The scripture says by His stripes we are healed. So shall it be for our governor in Allah’s name. Amen”, he said.
