A young lady identified as Ogechi Obidiebube has posted a video on Twitter where she revealed the intention to take her own life after she got heavily criticised over her allegations that Kiki Mordi had been taking credits for her intellectual work.
Remember that one Kiki Mordi was praised for her bravery and feat over an investigation that uncovered the sex for mark perpetrated by Nigerian University lecturers who offer female students marks in exchange for sleeping with them.
However, one Ogechi Obidiebube said some days ago that it was her and not Kiki Mordi who spearheaded the investigation that uncovered the many attrocities of University lecturers in Nigeria.
According to Ogechi, she had pitched the idea to BBC and subsequently put herself on the line to bait the lecturers in their offices to offer sxx for grades or admission while carrying a small video recorder.
After Ogechi made the revelation, that Kiki Mordi could have been preferred over her because she slept with a BBC worker, some persons came after her and accused her of insinuating that women don’t succeed unless they sleep with men.
The criticisms and the fact that she didn’t get any recognition for her work, which Kiki Mordi has been using to win several awards and get monetary grants have now allegedly pushed Oge to the brink of committing suicide.

After she was dragged and called different names by those who are sympathetic to Kiki Mordi, especially those who are members of Feminist Co, Ogechi shared a tweet where she said “cyanide or ricin?” Insinuating that she was contemplating taking poison to kill herself.
She followed the tweet with a video where she was crying profusely and apologizing for what she wanted to do as she was allegedly close to committing suicide.
She wrote in the tweet “Started reading newspapers as a pretend news anchor when I was just a little girl. All I wanted to do with my life was to be the next Christiane Amanpour or Anas Aremeyaw.
Forgive me some day but it’s better this way.”
