The former Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Barr. Hazeem Gbolarumi on Sunday appointed Hon. Akeem Adeleke as the factional youth leader of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.
The emergence of Akeem Adeleke followed the decamping of former youth leader, Adekola Adeoye to opposition party over Governor Seyi Makinde’s unfavorable behaviour to party members.
Speaking during a political meeting at his Bodija residence, Gbolarumi noted that Akeem Adeleke as new factional PDP state leader, Oyo state chapter will also head ATIKU ABUBAKAR campaign council youth leader in the state.
Also speaking at the meeting, the former Commissioner for Environment and Sanitation, Alhaji Majekodunmi Aborode charged member of the party to wake up to responsibility of ensuring Atiku Abubakar wins forthcoming presidential election.
He said: “Don’t let them cajole you that Tinubu as Yoruba is the candidate you must vote for. Tell them that Tinubu is a falsehood personified. He has questionable characters and his corruptible nature is to squander our national commonwealth.
