Former Oyo State deputy Governor, His Excellency Barr Hazeem Gbolarumi on Tuesday congratulated Osun State Governor , Senator Ademola Adeleke over ruling by the Apex Court.
Gbolarumi was reacting to a judgment delivered by the Supreme Court which upheld the decisions of the Appeal Court in appeal filed by former Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola of the APC, seeking to reverse the March 24, 2023 judgment of the appellate court.
In the lead judgment of (Seven-man Panel) delivered by Justice Emmanuel Agim, held that the appellants, Mr Oyetola and the All Progressives Congress (APC), did not produce a concrete evidence to support their claims of over voting and improper accreditation of voters.
In the message, Gbolarumi said, “I heartily congratulate my friend and brother. He is one of the most intelligent and eloquent leaders in Nigeria today; he is a technocrat that is humble, large hearted, friendly, gentle, patriotic, dogged and distinguished. The people of Osun State surely deserve a highly competent man like him as their Governor, especially this period. Osun people do not deserve anything less.
“I urge the people of osun state to continue their supports for him so as to transform Osun State for the benefit of citizens. I also congratulate the PDP Stakeholders and other supporters in the PDP family and indeed all democrats in Nigeria for this victory that toughens our abiding commitment to the recovery and progress of Nigeria for the benefit of all Nigerians” Gbolarumi said.
