Alh. Barr. Hazeem Gbolarumi, former Deputy governor and People’s Democratic Party’s Chieftain in Oyo State has described the late Sen. Kashamu Buruji, as a true Patriot whose death was a great loss to the Country.
Gbolarumi, in a condolence message through his Special Assistance on Media and Publicity, Olaniyi Stephen, prayed the Almighty Allah to comfort his family and grant the deceased Aljannah Firdaus.
“The death of Sen Kashamu Buruji is a huge loss to the family, the PDP, and to the entire people of Ogun State and Nigeria.
“He was an outstanding Philanthropist, who served his people with whole heartedly, leaving indelible footprints in the socio-economic terrain of Ogun State”.
Kashamu died on Saturday, August 8, 2020, from coronavirus complications at the age of 62.
The late politician, who represented Ogun East Senatorial District between 2015 and 2019 in the 8th assembly, died at the First Cardiology Consultant in Ikoyi.
“I pray to God Almighty to grant the family the fortitude to bear this heavy
loss. May Allah reward all the good work of late Sen. Kashamu Buruji, forgive his limitations and bless what he left behind. May his soul rest in peace”, he said.
