A yet to be identified Greendale woman who was arrested by police after having sex with a 13-year-old boy in the teenage boy’s home in Zimbabwe said he asked for it.
The female suspect was immediately handed over to police for sexually assaulting the boy at his parents’ home on Tuesday, February 23, in Houghton Park, Zimbabwe.
According to the report, the boy’s mother had the shock of her life when she returned home and caught her son being sexually abused by the woman. She immediately called the police, which resulted in the arrest of the defendant.
Police Deputy Superintendent Paul Nyathi confirmed the arrest and announced that the investigation into the case is ongoing and details will be disclosed in due course.
He said: “The Zimbabwe Republic Police would like to confirm the arrest of a woman alleged to have been caught having sex with a minor in Houghton Park.”
Meanwhile, in an interview with H-Metro, the defendant said that she did not commit a crime because the minor invited her to have sex with him at his parents’ home.
“What did I do wrong and how did I know his house if he hadn’t called me? We had protected sex and I do not see any reason why I can be treated like a thief or robber”. She said.
In other news, Ogun State Police Command arrested a 45-year-old man, Julius Ochim, for allegedly impregnating his daughter, who later had a baby girl for him.
Julius was arrested after his daughter, with whom he had sex for more than eight years, reported him to the Sagamu Police Station. The police investigation revealed that the suspect had sex with his daughter in 2009 shortly after the death of his wife, the girl’s mother. She became pregnant three years ago and had a baby girl for her father.
Confirming the arrest, Oyeyemi, said the suspect ”confessed to having been sleeping with the girl since the demise of his wife.
