Rt. Hon. Prince Olaide Akinremi (Jagaban), the member of the House of Representatives representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency, has extended his warm greetings to the Muslim community in his constituency and across the world on the occasion of the Eid-el-Kabir festival.
In his celebratory message, Akinremi emphasized the significance of the Eid-el-Kabir as a celebration of absolute obedience, confidence, and trust in the will of Almighty Allah. He drew parallels to the Quaranic story of Prophet Ibrahim’s willingness to sacrifice his son, a testament to the unwavering faith that defines this important Islamic observance.
“The Eid-el-Kabir is a festival that reflects Allah’s utmost love for us, even in the most difficult times and circumstances,” Akinremi said. “It is a constant reminder of why we must never lose hope in the face of life’s challenges.”
The lawmaker urged the people to draw inspiration from the lessons of the Eid-el-Kabir, embracing resilience, trust, belief, and unrestrained love towards one another. He also emphasized the importance of cultivating the spirit of sharing and free giving during this season and beyond.
