Nigerian A list musician, Tiwa Savage seem to be in another ditch of controversies as a fan has accused the ‘All over’ crooner of preventing female musicians to perform in any shows she’s in.
The accusation came as a reaction after another fan asked on Twitter why Nigerian women love to pull Tiwa Savage down. This caught the accuser’s attention and came hard for Tiwa making reference to how the fans of American stars like Beyonce (Beehives), Rihanna (Navy) and Nicki Minaj (Barbs) always go all out to protect their own.
She said they don’t go about blocking the shine of other female artistes.
This has however stirred a lot of reactions from loyal fans of the Mama Jam Jam and some others who backed up the allegations.
The supporting fan, @lolly_funk wrote; Nigerian women are always pulling Tiwa Savage down woow… She’s one of the few African women who put the continent on the map but the disrespect she receives from these women is disgusting ??
Tiwa Savage responded: It’s always been like that, I doubt it will ever change. Maybe I for just jeje dey yankee dey sing my rnb because I see how hard the Rihanna navy, beehives, barbs protect their own ?
While the the fan who alleged Tiwa of blocking female musicians’ shine tweeted: Rihanna and Bey don’t go around telling show promoters not to invite any other female artiste for shows and if they do, they won’t show up. You’re exactly what you’re whining about. Fix yourself first!!!
