Confusion has trailed a viral video of alleged APC National chairman, ADAMU ABDULAHI who was reportedly stripped naked in Nasarawa State over multiple crises rocking the party in the state.
According to the viral post trending on social media, some of the members said they don’t want Tinubu.
However, this has been debunked in some quarters that the molested politician was not APC chairman but an APC Chieftain in Nasarawa identified as Abubakar Abu Giza.
It was reported that the video rather showed a leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Abubakar Abu Giza, being groped and degraded by youngsters who were allegedly APC supporters in Lafia, the capital of the state of Nasarawa, while naked.
According to Hon. Abubakar Malami, chairman of the Nasarawa state inter-party advisory council, youths should maintain their neutrality and refrain from acting as political operatives who are seen as the future of country building and a tool for integration.
The APC chieftain’s molestation was also denounced by Honorable Ogah, who is also the state’s chairman of the Zenith Party, who called it barbaric and unwholesome and said that Nigerians must rise up against attacks on innocent people.
The head of IPAC asked the country’s ruling APC and other political parties, as well as residents and other individuals, to vehemently condemn thuggery and other types of unwholesome behaviors that could derail the upcoming general elections.
“Politicians who are generating problems in the country must not have access to the desires and aspirations of Nigerians to have credible, peaceful elections in 2023.
The chairman of the Zenith Labour Party stated, “It is the collective obligation of all actors and members of all political parties to guarantee that campaigns are handled with decorum and in compliance with the rules of the game.”
During election campaigns, he urged the state’s residents not to stir the flames of unrest and bloodshed.
A report recalled that during the party’s meager rally in Nasarawa state, Abubakar Abu Giza was allegedly stripped naked, sexually assaulted, and degraded by youngsters thought to be APC supporters.
The party leader said to be attacked by the group of young people who were allegedly party members at the Lafia Emir Palace.
