How veteran actor, Ogun Majek died after a long term illness

Nollywood actor, Alhaji Gbolagade Akinpelu popularly known as “Ogun Majek” is dead.

It is indeed a very dark year for the movie industry as the veteran Yoruba actor died in the early hours of today, Thursday.

He was said to have been battling with unknown sickness for some years.

The yoruba movie actor had on April 28th, 2020 cried out to the public for financial assistance over his sickness.

However, the leadership of Theater Arts and Motion Picture Producers Association of Nigeria ( TAMPAN) has commiserated with the family of the deceased.

This was disclosed on Thursday morning in a statement signed by both NAT Social Director male, Alhaji Niyi Adedayo and NAT Social Director female, Mrs Toyosi Adesanya Ileyemi.

The statement reads;
“On behalf of TAMPAN global,we commiserate with the family of alhaji Gbolagade Akinpelu (alhaji ogun):all the social secretaries and social welfare commitee symphatize with oyo state TAMPAN,the almighty Allah will grant the deceased aljanah fridaus, condolence message by _Alh Niyi Adedayo(Nat social director male) Mrs Toyosi Adesanya ileyemi (Nat, social director female)odun ajinna sira(Amin)”
