A 32 years old, Mrs. Joy Amadi has reportedly killed her daughter over her addiction to an Indian telenovella show on terrestrial TV.
It was gathered that, Joy was busy watching one of her favourites program on the station when her three year old daughter, Praise Amadi came to meet her that she needs water. Mrs Amadi gave her daughter water and continued watching the show and after a little while, the small girl came back for more water but her mum got angry complaining of her disturbance and distraction from watching Zee world show “which is extraordinary every day”.
It was gathered that out of anger, she pushed her daughter away and the small girl crashed to the ground hitting her fragile head on the hard floor. Praise started bleeding and it was even her 5 year old elder brother that ran out to inform their father.
Praise Amadi who later died had celebrated her 3rd birthday just last weekend.
The woman have been arrested and detained by the Lagos state police command has been undergoing investigation.
