The All Progressive Congress, APC Governorship candidate, Chief Adebayo Adelabu on Saturday voted in Kudeti area of Ibadan in Ibadan North East Local Government commends INEC for credible process.
Speaking after voting, Adelabu said “the election process today is better than the one we had last two weeks ago. There’s no violence but many people are initially cautious as they don’t come on time but thank God that now the turn out is impressive.
INEC has improved on mistakes of last election and at the end of the day, I’m confident that we are going to have credible outcome of the election.
Also, the candidate the of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Engr Seyi Makinde on Saturday during the governorship election cast his vote at unit 1, ward 11 in Abayomi area of Ibadan, North East Local Government.
Makinde who voted at exactly 9:30 am also commended the INEC officials for good conduct of electoral process.
He said, ” we have noticed some improvements from the last presidential election. The election is going on fine though I’m yet to get reports from other polling centres but so far, the process is okay.
“As to my chances, I will say my winning of the election will be determined by people and I know that people’s wish will prevail.”, he said.
