The Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, on Monday on Monday said he chose the Mrs. Olubamiwo Adeosun, as Secretary to the State Government (SSG) because of his track records.
In his induction speech, governor Makinde explained that the appointment became necessary to hit the ground running and to justify the trust reposed in him by the good people of Oyo State.
He reminded the first Oyo SSG, Mrs. Adeosun that the appointment is a call to service and an acknowledgement of her exemplary track records in her various fields of specialisation.
Makinde also enjoined her not to be complacent in performing her duties but continue to strive for excellence.
Responding to the appointment, Mrs Adeosun, thanked the governor for giving her the privilege to serve and promised to justify the confidence reposed in her.
You will recall that the Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, on the 28th June, 2019 announced the appointment of the Country Implementation Lead of the Shell Business Operations (SBO), Nigeria, Mrs. Olubamiwo Adeosun, as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG).
The brief ceremony was attended by dignitaries, including the deputy governor, Rauf Olaniyan; Deputy Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly, Abiodun Fadeyi, who represented the Speaker, Adebo Ogundoyin; Chief of Staff to the governor, Bisi Ilaka; Head of Service, Mrs. Amidat Agboola and chairman committee, Oyo state Advisory Council, Senator Hosea Agboola.
