A former Councilor for Ward 6, Ibarapa East Local Government, Hon Oluwaseyi Ogundele popularly known as Lapo has dumped the People’s Democratic Party for the Accord Party to ensure victory for Chief Adebayo Adelabu in the 2023 governorship election.
According to Hon. Ogundele, the decision became necessary due to the maladministration of the Governor Seyi Makinde-led government in the State, especially the neglect of Ibarapa land.
” As far as Ibarapa land is concerned there is no impact of the State Government in terms of physical project and provision of basic amenities. Despite the contributions of the people of Ibarapa land towards the emergence of the Seyi Makinde led administration, the zone had been neglected “, Ogundele lamented.
He promised to team up with other like minds and Accord Party members to ensure victory for Chief Bayo Adelabu in Ward 6 of Ibarapa East local government in 2023 and his subsequent emergence as the Oyo State Governor.
